Admission Process
At Priyanka Hospital, the front office staff at the reception will assist you during the admission process. They will generate a Unique Identification Number (UID) for the patient, and all medical records will be maintained and stored by the hospital for future reference. They will also provide an estimate and guide you in selecting the appropriate category of room.
The Hospital Admission Procedure at Priyanka Hospital includes preparing to admit the patient, performing the admission procedure, handling emergency admissions, routine admissions, transfers in, and discharges. Nurses follow strict protocols regarding admission and discharge in the hospital. Additionally, you will be required to make an advance payment, which will be adjusted against the final bill at the time of discharge. Those opting for the cashless route should visit the insurance desk/TPA desk for the hospitalization of the patient.
After completing the admission process, the staff will escort the patient to the allotted room/bed and ensure they are comfortable. Once your final bill is generated, you are expected to clear your dues by paying with cash or a credit/debit card. The nurse will provide you with your discharge summary and return your belongings (such as a thermometer, urinal, bedpan, etc., used during your stay). She will also explain the medications you need to continue after discharge and any follow-up instructions. If you require a medical ambulance to take you home, please inform your nurse, and she will make the necessary arrangements.
